A Mercedes-Benz India, a subsidiary of German car maker Mercedes Benz had successful selling record in India previous year. The company has set higher goal analyzing previous year sales growth. The company has expected 58 percent growth in next 12 month in its report released in February this year
The company open one dealership outlet in Bhopal in February this year after that this would be 62nd dealership opening from the company this year, and this is a new dealership at the Mohali in Pu0njab. This showroom will tag of Punjab’s largest dealership having area of more than 5500 sq. feet. The larger area will enable the dealer to showcase about 11 cars and has facilities such as drive-in valet services, café and a plush customer lounge. The showroom will have a special children play area too.
The facility will take about 7 months to get constructed and will need investment of Rs. 16 Crore. It will be equipped with high quality equipments and more than 50 trained personnel. It has 15 bays and capacity to service 560 cars a month. Talking on the occasion Mr. Eberhard, MD and CEO, Mercedes Benz India told, “Facilities like the ones our dealerships have make us bullish in our outlook for the luxury car market in India and we are confident that each of our dealer partners with their proven track record and thorough market expertise will create new standards in luxury car retail and customer service in this key market. Emerging markets and planned developments are future growth engines for Mercedes-Benz and we continue to see more affluent customers with high aspirational level and global lifestyle in this market, prefer to own a Three Pointed Star.”
