A car that will replace the bestselling car from Land Rovers portfolio spotted testing near Loughborough. The information is confirmed but latest developments says that it will reaches showroom by the end of this year. The car is built on a modified Range Rover Evoque platform and the car was unveiled at New York Auto Show.
The car will be initially available only in five seat version, and seven seat version will be launched in market soon after the launch of five seat version. The car will be initially sold with diesel version engine of JRL’s new range of super-frugal four cylinder engine, dubbed ingenium, which are being built at a new plant near Wolverhampton.
The petrol version of the car will be available in the market from the autumn next year after the diesel engine car come to the market.
The new engine will also occupy its space in Jaguar’s upcoming 3 Series car, the XE.
