New BMW X5 to be launched on May 29.

During the last 3 years, Indian auto mobile is experiencing a major change in the product portfolio of the companies. All the companies were in compulsion of introducing new SUV or Compact SUV to the market. The demand of SUV segment have risen at significant 2 digit rate when overall industry was stinking on lower

demand.  

Now luxurious car players such as Audi, BMW and Mercedes are also betting on introduction of new SUVs in the Indian market. BMW will launch the Third Generation BMW X5, code named as a F15 on May 29, 2014. The car is featured with the 3.0-litre diesel engine which delivers power of 258bhp. The booking has been started off by the dealers taking token amount of Rs. 5 Lacs. The ex-showroom price of the car is expected to be around Rs. 68 Lac for the base model and up to Rs. 72 lac for the top end model of the 3.0-litre version. The car will be available in two variants with option of 5 and 7 seats. Interior has been updated with latest BMW technologies.
