India’s largest auto maker by revenue eyes new geographic market to expand its market presence and maintain sales revenue. The strategy seems to be came from sales pressure in domestic market. As the company has worldwide presence for its premium subsidiary JLR, it also eyes same for its low and medium segment cars.
The company is planning to launch its passenger cars like the Manza, the Vista, the Indigo and the Indica. While from commercial range it may launch the Xenon, the Ace and Super Ace. “The company will commence its business in the Philippines with exports of the Manza, the Vista, the Indigo and the Indica from its passenger vehicles portfolio and the Xenon, the Ace and the Super Ace from its commercial vehicles range” the company said in the statement.
Mr. Wasan, Tata Motors Head International Business-Commercial Vehicles said “With Horizonext, we have embarked on a journey with a commitment to excite our customer globally and we look forward to unfold our strategy in the Philippines for a deeper presence in this market across several product segments”
Since company started its international journey in 1961, it has now presence in countries across Europe, Latin America, Africa, Russia, Middle East, Asia and Australia. It has also captured ASEAN countries with more focus and presence, which includes Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar.
