Honda recently launched its amazing model Honda Amaze. With four door subcompact sedan in India on April 11, 2013 which has been developed at Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. located in Bangkok, Thailand. The Honda Amaze is available in both the petrol and diesel engine. It provides the feelings of accomplishment. Honda Company launched its first diesel car in India and also available with 102L (73cu in) L12B i-VTEC petrol engine that is used in hatchbacks.

In terms of max power Xcent come with just 72PS which is less than the Amaze and Dzire, In terms of wheel base Xcent come with greater wheel base 2425 than the Amaze.

In terms of pricing it would cost around 5.57lakh. If we compare with Amaze, Xcent has fewer features than the Honda Amaze. Xcent replaced the second generation Accent in India and compete with the Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.

Variants – Hyundai Xcent is available in three trims Base, S, and SX. Its SX model comes with power folding mirror.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire –

Maruti Suzuki launched the new Swift Dzire in India which is based on third generation swift. It is compact sedan 4000mm. It shares its engines with hatchbacks. In terms of power and wheel base, max power 75PS and largest wheel base 2430, In terms of fuel efficiency, it is less than the Amaze and Xcent. Its fuel efficiency is just 23.4kmpl. Its Kerb Weight is just 1050kg while amaze comes with 1060kg.

In terms of pricing Swift Dzire come with 5.78lakh. If we compare with competence car it’s just less than the Honda Amaze and little greater than the Hyundai Xcent.

Swift come with petrol version only, there is no diesel version launch yet. But Honda Amaze launched its diesel version first time in India.

Maruti Suzuki competes with Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent. It’s just 21000 less than the Amaze but not having that much features as Amaze having. All of its variants available in petrol version only but Amaze launched with diesel and petrol version both first time in India.
