Suzuki Motor Corporation has announced that it will be manufacturing the Celerio hatchback – first launched in India on February 6 – at its Rayong plant in Thailand. The Rayong facility, which opened in March 2012, will be the second production hub for the Celerio following on from its introduction in India, as per news published in the Autocarindia.com.
Initially the Celerio will be produced to serve only domestic market, followed by production of European specification models, that will enables the company to meet it European demand as well.
While talking about Indian market, the company has received over 25000 booking in the first month of its launch and as per company’s claim it receive more than a 1000 booking on a daily basis.
