Now company has launched ring tones for the car that will attract the people. According to company spoke person, “Tata Motors the Zest signifies enthusiasm for life owing to the energy it brings along with itself by providing a sense of excitement and anticipation. The power tune signifies vivaciousness and zestful energy.”

While on other hand “The Tata Bolt on the other hand signifies speed and the winning attitude of the car according to the carmaker. This go-getter attitude of the car is embodied in the ringtone of the Bolt.” Now for us, it’s time to see, how company is able to deliver the best from itself and please customers.

Audi sales up 8 %, sold 10126 units in FY 2013-14

The premium car market is growing rapidly, a simple indication of increase in disposable income of rich people. After 27% increase in Mercedes Benz sales in first quarter of this year, Audi also reported a significant increase of 8% in its sales, marking the sales of 10,126 units in 2013-14 compare to 9340 units in the previous year.

"The double achievement of selling 10,000 units in a single financial year and calendar year validates the strength and stature that the brand has achieved in India," Audi India Head Joe King said in a statement.

In addition he also said that the "In line with our top-down strategy, we will be launching the next big Audi - Audi A3 Sedan later this year. Globally, the Audi A3 has been a great success and I feel that it is just the right product for the Indian market and will further delight customers across the country," King said.

BMW to focus on High-end Models in India, i8 may come to India by 2014

India going more and more competitive market for luxury car makers, it is growing at steady growth rate despite slowdown in sales of medium and low end cars and tough economic condition. Maruti May Recall 1 Lac Cars

India’s largest car maker by number of cars produced Maruti Suzuki, may recall about 1 lac units of its flagship car hatchback Swift and compact sedan Swift Dzire. The company found problem of a loose fitting of fuel cap. The 1 lac car includes second generation models of Swift and Dzire, out of them some of the cars are already sold to customers, some are there with dealers holding and some of them are part of inventory.

MarutiThis defects in fuel cap may result in more loss of fuel due to evaporation and odour leaking into the cabin. The company has yet not confirmed the recall before investigating the matter and arriving at decision. One of the senior executive confirmed that “there is a defect”.

The company dealers confirmed that it would be avoiding the deliveries for the time being but its not undertaking any mandatory checks or repairs in vehicle already sold to customers.

So far it is not mandatory for automakers to recall cars because of safety or engineering defects, but the government is in process of making this mandatory.
